NEW DEADLINE: July 20, 2016. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!

The Brazilian Society of Television Engineering (SET), with the intention of fostering the production and disclosure of scientific knowledge in the field of communications technology, is pleased to inform that the call for scientific papers for the 2016 SET EXPO Conferences is now open. The Conferences will be held in São Paulo between August 29 and September 1, 2016.

Articles accepted in this call will be published in the SET International Journal of Broadcast Engineering (SET IJBE) and the authors will be invited to present their studies during the event. Both publication and participation in the Conferences are free of charge for the authors.

The SET International Journal of Broadcast Engineering (SET IJBE) is an international open access, peer-reviewed article-at-a-time scientific periodical.  Its main objective is to distribute knowledge about communications engineering, especially in the fields of broadcast and new media. The SET IJBE is looking for current research articles that represent the state-of-the-art in these technologies.

All articles published are awarded the CrossRef Digital Object Identifier (DOI), a register in the form of a permanent link on the web that enables them to be indexed using the key impact and citation indicators (such as Scopus, Web of Science, JCR and SciELO, etc.).

To submit the papers, the SET IJBE uses the platform employed by the world’s major scientific publishers, ScholarOne, of Thomson Reuters. ScholarOne is a complete solution for on-line submissions, reviews, editing and publication.
