SET is organizing a webinar with Hugo Gaggioni, Technology Director of Sony

SET, in partnership with Sony, will hold on April 3rd a webinar on Technologies and workflows for using High Dynamic Range (HDR) formats in live content productions (Original title: Tecnologias e fluxos de trabalho para uso dos formatos High Dynamic Range (HDR) em produções de conteúdo ao vivo).

The speaker will be Hugo Gaggioni, Technology and Professional Solutions Director of Sony in the Americas. The webinar is free and will be live, in English, without simultaneous interpreting. Places are limited.

The webinar aims to provide a panorama of the development of Ultra High Definition (UHD) technologies applied to transmission and to the digital cinema, and to show the incorporation of new gamma curves for capturing and processing images in high dynamic range (HDR).

The participants will have access to quality content that will afford them countless benefits, such as:

Getting to know the technical details of standardized formats and workflows already commercially established for live productions, whether in television studios or field operations.

Learning the criteria for adjusting UHD cameras to simultaneously produce HDR and SDR (traditional dynamic range) programs, while retaining high levels of image quality in both productions.

Showing how and when to alter different production processes by mixing SDR elements with HDR productions and vice-versa.
