SET launches digital event SET eXPerience
Imagine checking out products and services trends for the media and entertainment industries in a safe, interactive, and fully digital way? SET announces the upcoming event SET eXPerience, an online initiative that will replace the traditional SET EXPO, due to this pandemic moment.
SET Presidente, Carlos Fini, explained the main objectives. “Our main objective is to supply the business and networking needs of the industry. We also want to ensure that these aspirations could be transformed into a rich experience of opportunities. We will show how our sector is reinventing itself and overcoming the challenges imposed by the current scenario.”
“For this reason, we have created this exclusive event that aims to bring together the best we do at SET EXPO and transform this competence according to the forms, richness, and creativity of the digital platforms.”
Companies, manufacturers, worldwide associations, executives, opinion leaders, and industry professionals will gather in a digital experience that will last until November 2020.
“We decided to hold the event throughout the second semester, starting in August, so that the public can choose and plan to enjoy the activities that will be offered in a customized and interactive way.”
“We will have conferences, workshops, forums, product online exhibition, business roundtables, live and on-demand content, meetings, and extensive journalistic coverage.”
In addition to discovering the latest in the market, participants will be able to experience simulations, engage in training, and schedule meetings.
SET Presidente described an overall view of the event. “During SET eXPerience, we want to bring together the main representatives of the audiovisual media industry and offer a space for them to carry out their launches and show their new products to the market.”
The event will also feature a broad program of debates that will discuss technological trends and their impacts on business models. “We are choosing the main themes that impact the industry at the moment. The aim is to foster know-how experiences and learning opportunities in this uncertain environment.”

Founded in 1988, SET is a non-profit association that gathers companies, professionals, and academics whose main objective is to develop technical and scientific knowledge throughout the audiovisual media chain, from creation to delivery. It represents the largest forum for discussing patterns and trends for content creation, management, production, and distribution markets in Brazil.
