Member of SET, Lindália Reis is appointed to Finep
SET extends its congratulations and wishes to advise its associates that Marketing Committee member, Lindália Junqueira Reis, has been appointed a full member of the Consultative Council of the Studies and Projects Financing Agent (Finep) as representative of the National Association of Research and Development of Innovative Companies (ANPEI).
The appointment was published in the June 24th edition of the Official Federal Journal, signed by the current Minister of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communications, Gilberto Kassab, and comes after two years at the head of the executive board of the Anpei.
At SET, Lindália was one of the brains behind the SETup award for encouraging startups, which is in its 4th edition this year, of which one of the greatest examples is the startup Stayfilm which, “when introduced to SET, closed a deal with Disney, received investment from Facebook and Gávea Angels, and has now been selected for the UKTI Program in London”, she says.
Throughout her career, Lindália has dedicated herself to the causes of innovation in Brazil, advocating for the simplification of the business environment and education for training new leaders, in addition to fostering the incubation of technology-intensive and globally scalable Brazilian startups.
“I believe in the potential of young people and I want them to regain their belief in the infinite opportunities for innovating even further”, she points out.
Currently, Lindália Junqueira Reis is also innovation director of the Estácio de Sá University and a Member of the Board of the MIT Technology Review and Singularity University at NASA.
