Registrations are now open for the SET Breakfast @ NAB Show Seminar

SET has announced that registrations are now open for the 2018 SET Breakfast @ NAB Show Seminar, a traditional event that the entity runs every year at NAB Show in Las Vegas.

The event will run between April 9 and 11, in room N116 of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). “We are going back to our origins: this year, the seminar will start at 7:30 a.m. sharp”, says Olímpio José Franco, superintendent of SET. Attendees will be offered breakfast between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.

At a meeting held at the end of January, the executive management of SET also decided to change the format of the event. Find out more here.

“We will have six panels which will discuss technologies like IP, satellites, new developments in production, digital transformation and advanced advertising”, says Olímpio. Check out the program here.

“Each panel will hold individual presentations by international executives, with a director of SET as moderator. This will be followed by a debate on the issues presented and greater interaction with the audience”, he explains.

Among the SET directors already confirmed as moderators are Fernando Bittencourt (SET), José Frederico Rehme (TVCi), Thiago Abreu (Rede Globo), Raimundo Lima (SBT), and Raymundo Barros (Rede Globo).

The Set Breakfast @ NAB Show Seminar is a joint event with the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the promotors of the NAB Show, which allocates space to SET for holding the event.

“We hope to bring together about 300 people, including participants, speakers and guests of SET”, Olímpio concludes.
