This session aims to explore how Artificial Intelligence is transforming both the teaching and practice of audiovisual media, as well as to understand the impact of neural networks and machine learning on audiovisual creation and production. It will address everything from creative possibilities to ethical dilemmas, such as the devaluation of human labor. The goal is to reflect on how pedagogical methodologies that critically and responsibly integrate AI can offer guidelines for the ethical and creative adoption of these technologies, while preserving cultural diversity and human agency in audiovisual education and production.
