(PT) Novas Métricas e Monetização: palestra Victor Lee
Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) is a technology that reduces GPS positioning errors from several meters to just 1–2 centimeters—so it can operate over one-way broadcast networks. This innovation led to the development of Broadcast RTK, which is successfully commercialized in Korea for the first time in the world.
MBC’s eGPS service, which utilizes the broadcasting network as a value-added service, is now being actively applied across a variety of fields, including geodetic surveying, autonomous vehicles, drones, outdoor robotics, and autonomous agricultural machinery. The service is already generating meaningful revenue and proving its commercial viability.
Furthermore, this technology has been exported to a joint venture formed by leading U.S. terrestrial broadcasters, and is currently being prepared for commercial deployment in the United States.
