Risks of Artificial Intelligence and Deepfake for the Media and Entertainment Industry

In this panel, we will showcase the development of the use of AI and deepfake technology, along with the security implications and threat scenarios it can bring to our media context. We will also provide demonstrations of the potential use of this type of technology.

Piffaretti has a degree in Computing and a master's degree in computing from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia (IME). He has extensive experience in IT, with 13 years of experience in information security, with an emphasis on offensive security, acting as an ethical hacker in several clients and segments, experience with intrusion tests in ATM (ATM), networks, infrastructure and applications. He has been carrying out personal research on deepfake since 2019. At Globo he works as technical leader of the offensive security team, a team made up of "good hackers", working with invasion tests and supporting other areas as a technical reference on the topic of cybersecurity.

Fernando Rodrigues de Oliveira, known as Fernando 3D, together with Bruno Sartori, are pioneers of deepfake and artificial intelligence in the entertainment industry in Brazil. Along with other producers, Fernando 3D was responsible for producing the music video for the Brazilian duo Tropkillaz, entirely created using the deepfake technique, making it the first one of its kind in Brazil. Thus, it became the first music video made with Artificial Intelligence and Deepfake in the national territory. Graduated from the Panamericana School of Arts in 2007, Fernando began working with 3D modeling and 2D animation at Fábrica de Quadrinhos, a production company founded by the Piologo brothers (Ricardo and Rodrigo) and Rogério Vilela, creators of the now-extinct website "Mundo Canibal." He has also worked with other Brazilian celebrities, YouTubers, and famous influencers. Fernando holds a degree in Digital Design (Unibero Anhanguera - Bachelor's) and is a graduate in Advertising Design (Panamericana School of Arts). Nowadays, he is known on the internet as Fernando 3D, a nickname given to him by the Piologo brothers and Rogério Vilela.

His educational background includes technology, economics, statistics, and data science & analytics. He is a passionate programmer and a strong advocate for data analysis to generate insights for businesses. Thiago has worked in various sectors, including Mining, Logistics, Banking, Payment Services, Insurance, and Food Industry.
