Remote Production: How to connect both Sides

Remote content production is already a reality. Different approaches have been adopted, from the most traditional model to Cloud production. It is known that these models enable greater capillarity and cost reduction, but how is it possible to guarantee a quality of connection between the structure of capture and that of production? In this panel, our participants will share and discuss about their experiences in using these technologies and about the connection between these two universes.

Moderator: Cauê Franzon, Executive Manager of TV and Radio Technology, RBSTV

Graduated in Engineering, Master in Production Engineering, Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, with an MBA in Project Management, FGV. He started his career in TV in 1996. He worked for over 10 years as a technician and support engineer for audio and video systems, coordinated a research group for television products and solutions for 3 years, served as infrastructure and project manager for TV and Radios and currently manages the technology area of RBSTV. He was the leader of several projects such as the remodeling of Rádio Gaúcha, implementation of virtual scenography, modernization and restructuring of productions and exhibitions of the group’s stations in the interior of the state, implementation of IP infrastructure (2110) in the station in Porto Alegre, among others.

In his 26-year career, he has worked in the areas of projects, operations and support, carrying out highly relevant deliveries, such as connectivity solutions for 4 World Cups and 2 Olympics. He is currently responsible for the teams that develop and implement projects in the areas of local networks, WAN and in the cloud, security and telecom solutions for broadcast.
