Cinematography Specialist – Blackmagic Design

Tor has won six Emmy’s for directing and producing, and one as a photographer in the Los Angeles market.  Before joining Blackmagic Design in Los Angeles as the Lead Cinematography Specialist Tor ran an independent commercial production company – clients included The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Pinkberry, CJ Jeans, GWP, Neiman Marcus, InStyle Magazine, The Discovery Channel, KCET, ESPN, MTV, The Magic Johnson Foundation, cars.com, CJ Jeans, Autism Speaks, and The Gas Company.

Tor has written columns, technological reviews and features for POST Magazine, Post Perspective and TV TECHNOLOGY. He’s an ASC Associate, and a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, NATOA, and SMPTE.  He received his BFA from Ithaca College for film and photography.  And more recently received his MFA in Cinema Studies at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
