Rogerio Mariano is Global Head, Network Edge Strategy at Azion. Graduated from the UGF and founder of the Brasil Peering Forum – BPF, he was president of LACNOG (Latin America and the Caribbean Network Operators Group) between 2014-2018, at ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), was a fellow of the ICANN 54 program in Ireland. He was a student at the Brazilian School of Internet Governance (EGI.br) and at the South School on Internet Governance (SSIG) at the OAS in Washington, DC, a graduate and alumni of the OSA Submarine Cable School (Polvijärvi, Finland) and a member of the Subsea OFC. He is currently also a member of the Global Peering Forum-GPF program committee and a student at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has 20 years of experience in Network-Scale, Submarine Cables, Interconnection and Edge Networks.”
