Director of Audiovisual Production at Grupo Abril

Rodrigo Hornhardt has been Director of Audiovisual Production at Grupo Abril since March 2025. He previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Programming at Canal UOL, where he coordinated the programming schedule for the channel, which launched on cable TV and fast channels in November 2024. He was the creator and head of SBT News, the network’s digital news vertical. Rodrigo also worked as Chief Editor at SBT and held positions at Fundação Padre Anchieta and TV Record. At TV Globo, he was a news producer for Jornal Nacional and led the team responsible for the websites of the network’s news programs produced in São Paulo. He holds a degree in Journalism from the University of São Paulo and a specialization in Digital Journalism from ESPM.
