Rafael Parlatore

Director of Accessibility at MAV

Rafael Parlatore is MAV’s Accessibility Director, with over 18 years’ experience in audiovisual accessibility. At MAV, he leads projects to make theaters, cinemas, events and audiovisual productions accessible to diverse audiences. He contributed to the development of Closed Captioning and Audiodescription standards, and chaired the EGA’s Accessibility Committee, promoting inclusion. He constantly seeks innovations to overcome barriers in communication and the audiovisual experience.
