Fernando Moreira

Coordinator of the SET Working Group on Artificial Intelligence

Fernando Moreira holds a Ph.D. in Communication and is a university professor, researcher, and consultant specializing in audiovisual technology and applied Artificial Intelligence.

With more than 35 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, he has worked extensively in university television, corporate production, technological innovation, professional training, and project management. He served as President of ABTU (Brazilian Association of University Television), founded and directed one of Brazil’s leading university television stations, and has led initiatives focused on integrating AI, broadcasting, education, and emerging audiovisual languages.

He is the founder of Broadcast Media Lab, where he develops innovation projects, professional training programs, and AI solutions for the audiovisual and broadcasting ecosystem.

Fernando is also the Coordinator of the Artificial Intelligence Working Group at SET (Brazilian Society of Television Engineering).
