Pola Grzanka is a dedicated video journalist with a passion for accurate and ethical reporting. She was part of the team that established the first User-Generated Content (UGC) operations at Reuters. This experience has shaped her commitment to integrating user-generated content into mainstream journalism responsibly.

After few years at Reuters’ office in Gdansk, Poland, she is currently residing in Mexico, where she manages a team of visual verification producers across the Americas. Her team is at the forefront of global journalism, working on major stories that span breaking news, personal insight stories, conflict special reports, and in-depth investigations.

Pola and her team employ advanced open-source intelligence techniques (OSINT) to forensically analyze videos and photographs. Their meticulous work involves verifying the authenticity of media, discerning whether content is outdated, misleading, tampered with, or even AI-generated. This rigorous verification process ensures the integrity and reliability of the news distributed to the public.
