Pasi Toiva has over 25 years’ experience in the digital TV development, deployment, and receiver certification. Pasi started his career in digital TV to work with the STB development as a lead SW engineer and project manager developing one of the very first DVB STBs that was deployed in German market.

After the STB development Pasi joined the Finnish Broadcasting Company to work as the project manager in digital TV content production, delivery and transmission activities and was developing the infrastructure to prepare the broadcaster for transit from the analogue TV to the digital TV transmissions.

Later Pasi joined the Ortikon Interactive to be the R&D manager in a digital TV application development company. During that time Pasi leaded the development and deployment of the value-added applications and head-end products.
