CEO of the RECORD Group since 2015, Marcus Vinícius Vieira leads one of the largest media groups in Latin America, focusing on innovation, expansion, and digital transformation.
With over 30 years of experience in administration, investments, and market intelligence, he was the creator of new strategic areas such as: Engage Go (social media); R7 Hub (brand licensing); ACLR (content development); Record Filmes; and Record Entretenimento.
In 2018, he launched PlayPlus, the first Brazilian streaming marketplace with its own content, national, and international channels. Starting in August 2025, the service will be renamed RecordPlus, strengthening the connection with the audience and clearly reflecting the platform’s role as RECORD’s official streaming service.
He was responsible for implementing governance policies within the company. He led a restructuring of all the broadcaster’s functions, resulting in greater efficiency and savings. Under his leadership, the broadcaster strengthened its presence in the sports market with the rights to the Campeonato Paulista (São Paulo State Championship) through 2029, the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro (Brazilian Championship), and is leading the transition to TV 3.0, focusing on interactivity and cutting-edge technology.
Prior to his current position, he served as Executive Vice President of RECORD, responsible for partnerships with more than 20 content producers and several national and international technology companies.
