Marcelo Petrelli

CEO of the ND Group

Descendant of a traditional family from Santa Catarina and Paraná, born in Curitiba (PR) on December 26, 1964. Son of Mário José Gonzaga Petrelli and Dircéa Corrêa Petrelli. Grandson of Haidee Ribas Corrêa and Alice Guilhon Gonzaga Petrelli, recognized as the first female public servant in the State of Santa Catarina.

Journalist and businessman, he has over 35 years of experience in the communications sector. He is the Executive President of Grupo ND, an affiliate of Record TV, and has a distinguished institutional and business career in Santa Catarina.

He was president of ACAERT – Associação Catarinense das Emissoras de Rádio e Televisão (Santa Catarina Association of Radio and Television Broadcasters) for two terms (1998/2000 and 2017/2019), in addition to presiding over SERT/SC – Sindicato das Empresas de Rádio e Televisão do Estado de Santa Catarina (Union of Radio and Television Companies of the State of Santa Catarina).
He serves on several business boards and organizations, including ADVB/SC, the Catarinense Movement for Excellence, Sapiens Parque, and ACIF. He also served on the Board of ABERT – the Brazilian Association of Radio and TV Companies.

Throughout his career, he has received important honors and awards, including the titles of Citizen of Santa Catarina, Citizen of Florianópolis, and Honorary Citizen of Joinville, as well as the Barriga Verde Commendation from the Military Police of Santa Catarina, the Carl Hoepcke Medal of Merit, the Commendation of the Order of Merit of the Labor Judiciary, and various honors from business, military, and educational entities.
