Leonardo de Pontes is a product and innovation executive with over 20 years of experience, more than a decade of which has been dedicated to the media and entertainment industry.
He has worked at companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Walt Disney World, Colgate-Palmolive, Itaú-Unibanco, Globo, and SBT, with a strong focus on digital strategies and user-centered solution development. In the M&E and advertising space, he began his journey at Globo as a business trainee and went on to work with commercial innovation, new formats, and product transformation.
He joined SBT in 2024 to lead the launch of +SBT, overseeing product strategy from conception to execution, culminating in its rollout in August 2024. Currently, he heads Digital Products at SBT within the Business and Commercialization Superintendence, leading initiatives such as the +SBT streaming platform, YouTube, mobile apps, interactive experiences, and digital monetization projects.
Leonardo spearheads strategies across SBT’s digital platforms, programmatic media, and partnerships with major tech and adtech companies—bridging technology, content, and business to strengthen the network’s presence and relevance across multiple digital ecosystems.
