José Juscelino dos Santos Rezende Filho is a medical doctor, specialized in radiology, and a reelected federal deputy for the state of Maranhão in 2022, serving his 3rd term.

In the Chamber of Deputies, Juscelino Filho chaired the Ethics Council in 2019 and 2020. He was the rapporteur for the Budget Guidelines Law (LDO) of 2022. He also chaired the Committee on Social Security and Family (CSSF) and the Special Committee on Technological Innovation in Health (Cetecsau).

He participated in several parliamentary fronts related to the Communications sector, such as those advocating for the Defense of Brazilian Cinema and Audiovisual and the Parliamentary Front Against Piracy. He has also expressed support for digital health policies. Another proposal he worked on was the update and modernization of the Traffic Code.
