Within nine years since its Ph.D. in multimedia and digital TV areas, he is active in the multimedia systems community by coordinating WebMedia 2019, the PC of WebMedia 2021, and being the vice-coodinator and coordinator of SBC’s CE-WebMedia. Currently, is Associate Editor of the Journal on Interactive Systems. At Cefet/RJ, he teaches in all three levels of education, was vice-coordinator and coordinator of the Masters in Computer Science Course. He is the founder and leader of the MultiSenS Laboratory. Participated in various projects related to digital TV, multimedia application authoring and validation, and multisensory multimedia applications. He is the proponent of the Guaraná technology (NCL 360 VR and Multidevice APIs), adopted in TV 3.0.
