João Neto is the co-Founder and CEO of VoiceInteraction, a Speech Processing Technologies company. With a PhD in Automatic Speech Recognition, he is an expert in the use of these systems in the Broadcast News area. As a Professor at the University of Lisbon, he supervised several PhDs, participated in European Projects, published over 70 papers in International Conferences and Journals, and carried out his research work at INESC-ID Lisbon, in the HLT group. Since its foundation in 2008, João Neto has been CEO of VoiceInteraction, a product company using ASR for Automatic Closed Captioning, Media Monitoring, Transcription Automation, Speech Analytics and Dictation with over 600 clients worldwide.
