Hélio has been working in the cellular industry for over 30 years and has accumulated significant experience acquired in NEC, Ericsson and Nokia. He has been at Qualcomm since 2007. Currently, he is responsible for Smartphone, XR, Computer, Artificial Intelligence, Infraestructure and Voice&Music portfolios for LatAm. He has been actively promoting these products and technologies in LatAm countries, supporting operators and device manufacturers and developing new business opportunities for the company in the region. Hélio Akira Oyama is an Electrical Engineer from the Polytechnic School of USP, with a postgraduate degree in Telecommunications from FAAP, a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from FGV and MBA in Marketing from IBMEC.
