Gabriel Thomazini

Audio Consultant - Fraunhofer IIS

Gabriel Thomazini embarked on his career as a recording engineer, traversing through various studios and collaborating with artists across diverse musical genres. His passion for audio led him to work as an audio engineer in TV stations, where he delved deeper into audiovisual applications.

Throughout his journey, Thomazini engaged in projects involving IP-based mobile units, studios, and control rooms, as well as developing remote workflows and mixing for 3D audio formats. His background in Computer Science propelled him to collaborate on extended reality initiatives, crafting audio solutions for VR and AR applications.

With over 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Thomazini joined Fraunhofer IIS in 2021. Currently, he serves as an audio consultant for the development of the MPEG-H audio ecosystem in Brazil, sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise to drive innovation and advancement of audio technology in the country.
