Elmo Francfort
Coordinator of the ABERT Memory Project and director of the Brazilian Museum of Radio and Television.
In addition to being a university professor, he is a screenwriter, researcher, and curator of major exhibitions – both physical and virtual, such as “Radio in Motion” and “Virtual Memorial of Brazilian Broadcasting,” both from ABERT. A leading figure in the field of communication memory, he is the author of books about TV Tupi, Manchete, Gazeta, Cultura, and SBT, totaling more than 90 literary collaborations. Francfort is an art direction consultant for TV and film productions, such as the telenovelas “Garota do Momento,” “Rei da TV,” “Hebe,” “Chacrinha,” and “Marighella.” He has worked for the country’s main TV networks, such as Globo, Band, SBT, and Cultura, and radio stations, such as Nativa, Mix, and Rádio Rock.
