Engineer Eduardo Bayo has over forty years of experience in the television, cable TV, and satellite industries, playing a key role in the technological transformation of media in Argentina. He graduated in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Electronics from the University of Buenos Aires in 1984, and since 1999, he has led the Technology, Operations, and Systems division at ARTEAR, the parent company of Canal 13, TN (Todo Noticias), and other content platforms.

Throughout his career, he has driven the development of solutions for satellite operations, distribution networks, and multiplatform content generation. He is an active member of the ATA technical committee and vice president of the IEEE Argentina Section, BT02 chapter. He represented ARTEAR on the executive committee and technical panels for the ATSC (1.0) standard between 1999 and 2001. Currently, he represents both the company and ATA in the international organization FOBTV. His commitment was instrumental in the selection and rollout of Open Digital Television in Argentina, promoting technologies that modernized and democratized media access.
