Carlos Alkimim

Director of Contracts and Distribution, Simba

Graduated in Business Administration, with postgraduate degrees in Business Strategy and Human Resources Management from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas), and in Communication and Law in Entertainment, Leisure and Culture from the University Extension Center (CEU).

With 34 years of experience in the Entertainment sector, having worked for companies such as Globosat, Globocabo Holding, Net Brasil, Viacom Brasil and TAP BRASIL, the Brazilian representative of TAP International – Television Association of Programmers.

In December 2017, he assumed the position of Director of Contracts and Distribution at SIMBA Content. Carlos Alkimim was also a member of the CSC – SUPERIOR CINEMA COUNCIL – a collegiate body that, among other things, formulates national film policy and approves guidelines for the development of the film industry.

He was also a member of FAC – FORUM DO AUDIOVISUAL E CINEMA – This is a national, non-governmental, non-profit association composed of companies in the areas of production, infrastructure, technology, operations, distribution, programming and exhibition of films, radio advertising, home video, free-to-air and subscription TV.
