Active for over 15 years in the Latin American satellite market, Bart started the regional office for Newtec in 2006 as General Manager/VP Sales. Under his tenure he grew the business in Latin America, initially focused on Broadcast he transitioned the regional office into a key player in the offshore, mobile backhaul and enterprise markets. After the acquisition of Newtec by ST Engineering in 2019 he continues his role as General Manager of the regional office where he now focusses on Business Development.
Bart Van Utterbeeck holds a degree of Electromechanical Engineering from KIH De Nayer/Thomas More and a Master in Biomedical Engineering from the Catholic University Leuven.
