Barbara Lange is the founder and CEO of Kibo121, a consultancy specializing in strategic planning and sustainability within the media technology sector. She is also the co-founder of the Media Tech Sustainability Series (MTSS), supporting education and knowledge sharing on this growing topic. Barbara previously served as the Executive Director of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE). During her tenure, she led key initiatives in membership, education, and standards development. Barbara’s visionary leadership and industry contributions have earned her numerous accolades, including the 2020 Woman in Technology Leadership Award.  She continues to drive significant advancements in media technology and sustainability.
