Advancement in “All in One” Solutions for Content Production and Virtual Set Design
“All in One” technological solutions are nothing new, but they are increasingly incorporating new applications and functionalities (software-based), with great reliability, allowing them to be used by an ever-increasing range of broadcasters around the world, with an unbeatable cost-benefit ratio.
In this panel, we will show several technologies and success stories that were presented at the last NAB, with great repercussion in our field. The solutions range from production itself, but also virtual scenography and even solutions with integrated master.

Case study: Complete operation of a large broadcaster on LiveOS' SMPTE2110 software-based platform
VRT, Belgium’s largest Dutch-language public broadcaster (it has three TV and five radio stations) has selected LiveOS (software-based) as its production system in replacement of the current system (hardware/SDI). The upgrade to the IP SMPTE2110 is the unequivocal step in the evolution of video production and the Neton.live system also has several advantages such as flexibility, scalability, low latencies and a friendly web interface.
From this experience we will show how the use of a software-based production system streamlines a broadcaster’s processes from end to end: implementation, configurations, integration with third parties, production operation and reuse.
