Wilson Cardoso is the Vice President of the 5G Brazil Project and Director of the Telecommunications Infrastructure Department at FIESP (Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo). He is also the Director of the telecommunications sector group at ABINEE (Brazilian Association of Electrical and Electronics Industry). He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1997. With 37 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has been involved in research and development, solutions, and technical support in Brazil, USA, Colombia, Germany, and Singapore. Additionally, he holds two international patents related to IP transmission over satellites. Currently, he serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Nokia in Latin America and Brazil.
