Uirá Moreno Rosário e Barros holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Telecommunications from Mackenzie University. Currently, he serves as a Product Owner (PO) at Globo’s Telecom Innovation Lab, focusing on the Future of Connectivity Networks and Content Distribution. Among his notable innovation cases, he was responsible for the First Immersive Live Audio Commercial Transmission in ISDB-T and the applications of 5G in events such as Big Brother Brasil (BBB), Carnival, Rock in Rio, Prêmio Multishow de Música, and the Presidential Inauguration.
In addition to his industry work, Uirá is a Professor of Radio, TV, and Internet at Faculdade Cásper Líbero and a member of the TV 3.0 Working Group at SET, where he coordinates the topic of Immersive Audio.
