Márcio Silva Novaes

President of ABRATEL

Lawyer, journalist, and postgraduate in Civil Law, he hails from Paraguaçu Paulista (SP) and has been an executive at Grupo Record since 2006. He was responsible for the implementation of the Social Communication Center of the Federal Justice of the State of São Paulo and has worked in strategic communication for various state and national agencies for over twenty years. He served as a counselor for the National Congress’ Council of Communication Social and as a member of the Freedom of Expression Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). Currently, he is the President of the Brazilian Association of Radio and Television (ABRATEL) and the Institutional Superintendent of Grupo Record.
