Journalist, Post-doctorate in Communication from the University of Beira Interior. PhD in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo. Master in Communication Sciences from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos. Graduated in Social Communication with specialization in Journalism, from the Catholic University of Pelotas. Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Communication and the journalism course at UFS. She worked on the founding of TV UNIR, in Rondônia, and TV UFS, in Sergipe. She was director of the College of Managers and Communication of Federal Universities (COGECOM / Andifes), director of Communication at UFS and president of the University’s Editorial Board. She was a professor in the journalism department at the Federal University of Rondônia. She worked in newsrooms for TV stations in Rio Grande do Sul and São Paulo.
