J.R.Cristovam

José Raimundo Cristovam Nascimento, professor, researcher, and international consultant for UNISAT Consultoria, Engenharia e Treinamento, provides services to national and international entities in the fields of terrestrial and satellite TV telecommunications, transport of audiovisual content via IP and non-IP networks, and new communication technologies in a broad sense. He is an Electronics Engineer from UFRJ/UGF, with a postgraduate degree in telecommunications from UFF and specialization in Japan (NEC) and the USA (TCSF). He has worked as an engineer in the areas of terrestrial microwave systems and TV centers for NEC do Brasil, television for TELEBAHIA, and satellite communications, commercial engineering, and videoconferencing for EMBRATEL. In 2007, he created the MBA program in Digital TV, Broadcasting, and New Media at UFF, where he served as a content expert, technical coordinator, and professor. He has organized congresses, seminars, and workshops, acted as a moderator, and delivered lectures in various academic and professional environments, both domestically and internationally. He has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at different universities. He is a Co-founder, CEO/Technical Director of UNISAT TELECOM, the creator, director, and presenter of the biweekly program “TECH Fry Day” on the UNISAT TELECOM YouTube channel, co-director of the SAT Portal, and a long-standing collaborator of SET.
