Telecommunications Consultant, Research Productivity Researcher at CNPq, Level 1D and Adjunct Professor V of the National Institute of Telecommunications (INATEL). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (2001), a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Unicamp (2002), a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering from Scuola Superiore Sant ́Anna – Italy and University of Bath – England (2006), and a Post-Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Unicamp (2009). From March 2009 to August 2011, he was a Professor at Unicamp in the area of Telecommunications. He has served as Invited Researcher and/or Invited Professor of internationally renowned universities, such as University of Oulu-Finland (2017), Technical University of Denmark-Denmark (2013), Max Planck Institute- Germany (2010), University of Bath – England (2004, 2005 and 2007) and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna – Italy (2015, 2017 and 2019). His main research areas are: 5G, 6G, Antennas, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Microwave Photonics, Optical Communications and Radars. Arismar has 12 patents, 31 products transferred to industry and more than 300 articles published in international and national journals and congresses.
