Discover how exponential innovation influences mediatechs

The emphasis of the 21st century necessarily involves innovation and the creative economy, concepts that are on the agenda of the world’s largest technology development centers. However, how far can disruptive thinking go? The answer may be in exponential innovation.

This concept is the essence of media startups known as mediatechs. “Companies and segment that don’t understand and apply these concepts with the strong involvement of their target audiences, will not achieve the profitable business model and are not recognized as necessary within the ecosystem”, says José Carlos Aronchi, one of Brazil’s leading names in innovation, entrepreneurship and new business.

Aronchi will mediate the panel “Exponential Innovation, the Creative Economy & MediaTechs”, which runs from 3:40 5:00 pm on August 29 within the 31st Technology, Media and Entertainment Business  Conference organized by SET. The Conference is part of SET EXPO: The largest technology, media and entertainment business event in Latin America.

“The technology for content production is the bridge leading media companies, the mediatechs, to the center of attention. SET Expo is bringing this topic for professionals and businessmen to understand, in a practical way, how exponential innovation can be applied, adding a competitive differential in a hotly disputed market like the media market, the leading segment of the creative economy”, the consultant asserts.

The panel will have three speakers who are references in their areas of operation: Rodrigo Dias Arnaut, director  of technology, innovation and creativity at Esconderijo Criativo (Creative Hideaway) and Mundo360 who, among other things, was for 21 years leader on projects on innovation and technology at Globo, with 15 awards in the area; Nei Grande, start-up mentor and speaker on digital transformation, innovation and business; and Lucas Foster, founder and CEO of LabCriativo who, among other achievements, is the brains behind World Creativity Day, an initiative which has now spread to five countries.

“This is a unique opportunity to understand how the media is positioned in the business chain of the creative economy. The debate among the renowned specialists in innovation in business, the media and the creative industry will encourage actions within companies developing projects that need to put forward constant innovations for consumers of content on multiple platforms”, Aronchi says.

Divided into a Conference and a Trade Show, SET EXPO is the largest technology and media and entertainment business event in Latin America and one of the world’s largest. This year, for the conference alone 2000 attendees are expected, with an additional 5,000 at the Trade Show, from 38 countries, invading the Red Pavilion and the Expo Center Norte Convention Center to check out the novelties of 150 exhibitor companies representing over 400 Brazilian and international brands.
